Q: How do I order a custom suit? A: Go to the store here. Add the suit you want to your cart and check out. Then go to the Sizing page - on the links at the top of my main (non-store) page, and submit youre measurements there. At that bottom of that page, you will find color templates for you to fill out and email to me at Sales@SpartanLeathers.com. Q: Im a big guy. Can you make leathers to fit me? A: Yes. Big guys make up most of my business. Q: Do the suits come with knee pucks? A: Yes. I admit they're not the greatest, but they are included. Q: What colors can I choose from? A: Here is the color chart: Color Chart Black is also available, although not on the chart. Q: Do you have a size chart for your rack sized suits? A: Yes! Here is the sizing chart: Size Chart Q: Who is that hot guy in the pictures? A: That is me. Ok fine, nobody asks this question, but just in case you were wondering. . . ;) Q: How long will it take to get my leathers? A: That will depend on when you order them. Typically the lead time is 5 to 7 weeks, however, if Im putting in an order each month, and you order your suit the day after I place my order, then it may take as much as 8 to 12 weeks. However, keep in mind that these are only estimates. There could be delays that are out of my control, such as US Customs delays, delays in manufacturing, and delays due to weather, etc. I highly recommend you do not schedule a trackday until you have the leathers in hand, and you have verified the fit. I cannot guarantee that your suit will come in before any particular date. Q: What kind of armor is in your suits? A: Every suit has CE approved GP Style armor in the shoulders, elbows and knees. This armor is foam backed with a hard plastic shell for abrasion resistance. Pictures can be found in the Photo Album. The suit also has a back pad (non-CE), and hip pads. Q: How do your suits compare to [Some other name brand suit]? A: That depends on the suit. Better than many, but not as good as others. Here's one way you can kindof compare: Look at the specs. What kind of leather is the other suit made with? Full grain? Top grain? Does it even say? Like most things, if it is good, the manufacturer will advertise it as such. If it doesnt say much about it, there is likely a reason. Does the suit use "Keprotec", or random "Elasticized" stretch panels? Does the suit utilize all multiple stitched seams, or only in impact areas? That will at least give you an idea. Besides that, try to find someone who has one of those suits, and look it over. Look at the seam construction. That will give you an idea. Q: What is your guarantee policy? A: I stand behind my suits. If there is a problem with the materials or workmanship, I will do whatever I can to fix the problem. However, unless I personally measure you, I cannot guarantee the fit, as there is no good way to tell if the problem was in measuring or production. Q: What is your return policy? A: No return on custom suits. Returns or exchanges of [rack] suits in new condition are happily accepted. Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: On custom suits, if production has not begun, we will refund 100% of your suit cost. However, if production has begun, it cannot be cancelled. The standard no-refunds on custom suits applies. This policy is due to as once the suit has begun production, I cannot cancel the order, and it is nearly impossible to sell a suit that was made to fit someone else's body. There is no cancellation fee on rack sized suits. Q: Where are they produced? A: They are made in Pakistan, along with 90% of all motorcycle apparel. Go ahead and check the labels in your other gear. Q: I saw a "Spartan" suit on Ebay/Craigslist/etc. Is it one of yours? A: It is possible, but not necessarily. There was a "Spartan" brand out in the early to mid '90s, that was a line produced by Fieldsheer and sold through Tucker Rocky. That brand is long since gone, however suits occasionally will pop up on Ebay. If it looks like a style from the 90's, it's not one of ours. Look for my Spartan logo and see if they match. Q: How can you sell a quality suit for such a low price? A: The simple answer is that I do not rely on this business for my livelyhood. I have no payroll, offices, warehouses or employees to pay for. I personally am the suit designer, importer, web designer, retailer, sales force, and customer service department. I make very little on these suits, and pass the savings on to you. |
